The form encapsulates the dynamism and energy of the summer games and for the first time, the podium was conceived for use in the Paralympics first and foremost, making it an inclusive design. Several size variations were delivered to accommodate the breadth of singles/team events and venues. Made from recyclable GRP and fabricated locally in London, we worked with local staging and set manufacturers, Scott Fleary, to bring the podia to life and within strict budget and time constraints while adhering to the legacy and environmental values of the London Games.
